The Riga Tweed Ride 2026 has come to a close! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part and helped create the Tweed Ride’s one-of-a-kind atmosphere, filling Riga’s historic streets with retro elegance and the cheerful ring of bicycle bells.

It all began at the University of Latvia Botanical Garden, where we gathered before the start. We registered, made last-minute adjustments to our bicycles, posed for photos, caught up with friends we hadn’t seen in ages, and waited together for the ride to begin.
And what bicycles they were! From elegant city bikes and carefully preserved vintage models to some truly unusual machines, the bicycles are as much a part of the Tweed Ride’s charm as the riders themselves.
